Flying to the Slovenian Alps
Slovenia has three international airports though only Lubljana is served by direct flights from the UK. The number of direct flights has increased this season and includes a new EasyJet flight from London Gatwick (beginning December 2016) as well as a new flight from Luton by low-cost Eastern European airline Wizz Air.
Lubljana serves as a good gateway to the main Slovenian ski resorts. As an alternative, you can also reach the Slovenian Alps via a number of airports in neighbouring countries. These include Venice, Trieste and Treviso (Italy); Klagenfurt and Graz (Austria); and Zagreb, Pula and Rijeka (Croatia).
